Wednesdays with MDriven: Join the Conversation!

Are you an MDriven user or new to the MDriven World? Interested in learning more about MDriven? “Wednesdays with MDriven,” is an online meeting that welcomes all users, visitors, and other parties associated with MDriven. Hans Karlsen, the lead developer, and the MDriven Team lead and host it every last Wednesday of the month.   

Time

“Wednesdays with MDriven” starts at 7 pm Swedish time and is scheduled to accommodate various time zones. This makes it convenient for participants across the globe to join. “Wednesdays with MDriven” has proven successful since the meeting’s inception because it occurs outside traditional business hours. Guests worldwide can participate seamlessly – from Sweden, where it is hosted, through Africa and to America.  

Purpose

“Wednesdays with MDriven” allows the MDriven Team to provide valuable insights into applications using live demonstrations of the latest features and fixes. Additionally, it endeavors to create an open platform for participants to voice their needs, queries, and suggestions. It is an excellent opportunity to engage with the MDriven community, stay informed about MDriven’s advancements, and contribute to its future development.

We encourage all MDriven users and partners to join us for “Wednesdays with MDriven.” Your presence is valuable to us. We welcome your specific feedback or suggestions, or if you simply wish to stay updated with the latest developments.

One of the key aspects of “Wednesdays with MDriven” is its respect for everyone’s time. The meetings typically run for one hour, allowing participants to plan their attendance and rely on the commitment to conclude within the allocated time.  

Conversation Flow

How does a “Wednesdays with MDriven” session usually flow:

1. First, a welcome and a brief introduction from the MDriven representative/presenter.
2. Participants from the previous session will have a minute to provide a recap including their name, city, and any significant project updates since the last session if interested.
3. New members use 2 minutes each for a short introduction, including their name, city, current project, background, and plans.
4. Hans Karlsen usually demonstrates a concept or feature for achieving software transparency in MDriven systems.
5. An open discussion on the topic of the day will ensue. Participants can share their thoughts, ideas, and the pros and cons of this concept.
6. The remaining time is allocated for questions directed to the MDriven Team or other participants.
7. Finally, the MDriven representative will formally close the meeting at the scheduled time (20:00 GMT+2), but participants are welcome to continue the discussion in the chat or through other mediums.
